Recap of my first year in business

This year has been one of incredible growth, not just for my business but for me personally. I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, helping them build their brands, navigate rebranding journeys, and create content that truly resonates with their audiences. Each project has taught me something new, and every client has added a unique perspective to my work.

Here are some key lessons I've learned:

-Stepping into the world of freelancing was a risk in itself, but I've learned that the greatest opportunities often come when you're willing to take a leap of faith. Whether it's trying out new strategies, investing in tools to enhance my services, or simply saying yes to projects that challenge me, embracing risks has led to some of my most rewarding experiences.

-One of the most exciting aspects of freelancing is that opportunities can come from the most unexpected places. Networking, staying active in online communities, and always being open to learning have connected me with incredible people and businesses. These opportunities have not only grown my business but also expanded my horizons in ways I never expected.

-The support and connection I've found within the freelancing and business communities have been invaluable. Surrounding myself with like-minded individuals has provided me with a sense of belonging and a wealth of knowledge. It's also helped me feel more confident in my decisions, knowing that I have a network of friends (and E-friends) to lean on.

-One of the greatest joys of freelancing is the creative freedom it allows. Working closely with my clients has made my job feel less like work and more like a hobby that I get to be a part of (aka, creating and putting together strategies, and content, and even going as far as rebranding to match the aesthetic of the brand. The way THEY see it). Nothing is more fulfilling than getting a message that says "You took the visuals out of my brain. Thank you!"

-Over the past year, I've grown more confident in my skills and abilities. The more projects I tackle, the more I realize just how much I've learned. This confidence not only boosts my work but also allows me to take on new challenges with excitement rather than fear.

As I move forward into my second year of freelancing, I'm carrying these lessons with me. Iโ€™m more determined than ever to continue growing, learning, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in social media management. Iโ€™m excited to keep building relationships with my current clients, welcome new ones, and explore opportunities that come along.

To all of my past, current, and future clients - thank you. Your trust, friendship, and collaboration have made this so easy and fun.

To my husband, Josh, thank you. You are the reason I get to do what I love every day, on my own terms, and for that, I am incredibly grateful.

Here's to year two and taking the time to write down new goals!

Enjoy some photos taken this past year :)
